You can use voice commands to have Loomo perform certain tasks.
Waking Loomo up
Before giving a voice command, you must say “Okay, Loomo” to wake it up. When Loomo's screen displays “I’m listening," it indicates that Loomo is ready to listen for your voice commands.
Note: Loomo can only identify your commands when it is awake (that is, the robot’s screen displays “I’m listening”). If you have not given commands for a long time after waking Loomo up, Loomo will exit listening mode. To give further commands, please re-awaken it by saying “Okay, Loomo”.
Giving voice commands
Once Loomo successfully recognizes your instructions, its screen will display your instructions in green text and it will proceed to do as you asked.
Possible voice commands
Loomo can currently only understand specific voice commands. You can find a full list of these commands in the following ways:
- Ask Loomo directly for help. Once you wake Loomo up with "Okay, Loomo", say “Show me some tips". Once Loomo recognizes your command, it will display a list of possible voice commands on its screen.
- Refer to the Voice page in the Loomo App for a full list of voice commands.
Notes
Please stand within 1 meter of Loomo when giving voice commands to ensure Loomo can properly recognize your command.
If your surrounding environment is too loud, Loomo may not be able to recognize your voice commands. In that case, please use the Loomo App to give Loomo commands manually.
